Ok, to the best of your understanding, how many Okito type accessories exist? Here is my list:

Okito
Boston
Slot
Sucker
Slug
Beyond Okito
Mag Box
Roth? (Is this a different box altogether?)

Are the Roth boxes completely unique? Especially the 3rd box? How can I learn more about his set? And if one were to try to get all matching boxes, is it possible to get one of each of the items in the above list and they all look enough to pass as the same box? And assuming you already have a Boston and an Okito, can you get any of the others in a set without lids to save a little expense?

Thanks everybody. I'll add this great resource to the list I found by searching around. It lists everything I can imagine along with some history:

I have some of the boxes mentioned in the first message that I purchased from Roy Kueppers. I have the aluminum ones and they are a gem.. Aluminum do not tarnish like brass..

I also use the Keuppers Aluminum boxes! There is also the Duvivier box, a Boston Slot, a Nokito box (not really a box at all) and a true Sokito box (a solid box with lid permanently attached, the Shufton box, the Porper dollar box and of course, the Buddha box set, which is exactly the same as all others but with rounded sides.

The Roth boxes are unique in that they can readily accept an ex****ed s***l. Roy Kueppers is now the manufacturer of the Roth boxes.

Roy can make your boxes in any material and coin size, with or without lids. Single, matching lids are available from him too. He also has a very cool looking lid available - it has a jewelled finish. You can find these on the Kueppers website at http://www.roykueppers.com

Again, keep your eyes open as Roy Kueppers and I are writing a book on routines for the other boxes outside of the standard Okito and Boston boxes.

There's also a different form for the Okito Box. Refer to Bobo for illustrations of a box that is divided in half with a flange (or lip) on one half as opposed to having a large bottom portion with a conventional smaller lid as in the more common boxes.

The top half of this box without the flange fits over the flange on the bottom half and acts like a lid. When the two are assembled you cannot tell which is the top and which is the bottom. Of course, when the bottom ("flanged") half is reversed and the top part is put in place it looks identical.

These are usually heavy and "chromed"--some have holes--and all feel good in your hands due to the heft.

I want to just spend the summer working on an okito routine now! lol. Too many things to learn and not enough time. I had been expanding with cards, and carrying a deck everywhere to practice the sleights, but I'm not good with focus. I can't just leave these pretty boxes alone all summer!

Don't forget the Buddha Boxes made by Chazpro. They come in Standard, Boston, Slot, Slug and Magnetic versions.

It's the same principle as the original Okito Box, but with a slightly different shape that could aid with the basic move. SETH
