Okay, I was just wondering and thinking about all the "simple" one trick kennedy half gaffs out there...okay, of course there is the copper silver coin, the shell, the bent coin, the coin with the raised profile, coin with a hole in it, and probably tons others, which are mostly for laughs, but certainly fun anyway using a pass, a switch, whatever.

What fun stuff have you guys seen or played with?

I wouldn't call a copper silver coin or shell a one trick gaff. Even some "one trick" items like a bent coin can be used for more than one trick depending on the presentation -- are you bending or unbending the coin? Is it magic or mentalism? Is it you or the spectator causing the bend to occur?

Or is that what you're asking us -- to discuss alternate ways of using some of these gaffs beyond the standard (often one dimensional) out of the box presentation?

I have a number of tricks I present as "science demonstrations", explaining how heat due to friction causes the physical properties of items to change. I have a karate coin (Kennedy half) that looks similar to this coin*:
http://www.magicworld.co.uk/magic-shop/i......D&id=124

Rather than making a sudden karate stab at the coin ("standard one trick use"), I show the coin fairly and then rub it against a tablecloth, my shirt, pants leg, etc. to "heat it up", do some dirty work, and then SLOWLY press my finger into and through the coin in a tight circular motion. It looks like the coin bends first before your finger goes all the way through. For me, this makes more "sense" and as the transformation takes time, (to me) it seems to come across as more than "ha ha, you have a coin with a hole".

*Some Karate coins look more like an "X" was cut into them and then pushed open vs this which is more like a bullet was shot through.

No, not really alternate ways, or handlings and yes, I know a copper/silver or a shell IS NOT a one trick pony, and personally I use a switch for a bent coin and tell the spectator to hold it as tight as they can...dont let me get it or take it, when they open their hand, I just state the obvious...

But what I meant was more like the cigarette thru coin..coin, or the half with the raised relief of kennedys head, really funky looking fun stuff

You want a list of gaffs I think. Go to tango or johnson's website and see what's available.
