And why haven't I heard about her before? I found this clip purely by accident surfing through youtube:

This is the same girl that has a FISM act we discussed a while ago. She only did repeated 4 ball productions in that act. I would assume they are very special BB she uses. She is very good, I bet those double jointed fingers help a lot for all her manipulations.
Found her FISM act here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hT0xygGww0&NR=1 Watch this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=HK&hl=zh-TW&v=3YSLZ_H_N0Q |

Reminds me of Yumi Nakajima, the cutest magician on Earth ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LirOK7gFcTI ). Not sure if it is her, though.

Here is Bret Daniels performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULYuLwHq3N4 I have never seen a one hand version, if anyone know where or if it is published, please post, I am dying to know. That is surprising as ther girl and the boy does similar moves at certain points in the routine. |

I saw a "Flash 1 to 4" BB set for sale once, I think at Penguin Magic.
Doesn't Florian Zimmer do this effect on his grafitti act as well? |

I think Mr. Fábio DeRose is referring to this act. Am I correct?

I have been watching her acts several time, she does use the Shamada 1 to 4 move in the act referenced by Anatole. She does not use it in the act I referenced or the final 8 ball production in the 1st reference. This has me completely puzzled as to the handling. These are the best BB acts I have ever seen in my life.
A little search says she is a winner of the Japanese SAM competition. She is a winner in my book for sure. I know none of you BB masters don't think she is very good, because she is not using 2" billiard balls. |

Who cares about the ball size? They are proportionate to her size and the size of her hands. Her act is amongst the best I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a few over the decades!). She has real stage presence and knows how to sell the routine. I have enjoyed watching it immensely! She sets a high bar!

I cannot believe she does not have a web site with all her talent. I was hoping to marry her for the secret to her fantastic billiard ball routine. Just my luck, again! |

Well then Bill they seem to miss the point entirely. I guess there is still a school of though that believes that the props are the magic.
I think you ought to simply head out to Malaysia in June and see her at the Magic Festival. maybe you could become her student!

Very well put Harry.
I just watched Shimada's 1998 Lecture video, and have determined that Michael Baker is right once again. On this video he does do the 1 to 4 with one hand, not involving the opposite hand. He said it took him 3 years to perfect the moves, and I can believe him, he suggest a minimum of 500 times before you may get it correctly. I can only guess that Fujisawa Mayuko really put in the work for a long time to perfect her version of these moves with the grace and speed that she demonstrates. Every magician should strive for this kind of perfection. My hat is off to her for giving everyone a level to shoot for in their magic in manipulations. I would say she exceeded her teacher as well. |
