Other than the normal standard mis-made flag routine, anyone have a simple illustration to use for Memorial Day.
My presentation will highlight that we broke away from England and this patchwork group of 13 colonies got their act together and formed the United States but all along the way and up until today people are giving their lives to protect us. I teach K-3rd grades and keep it light and not dwell on the killing part. Just that people served their country and many gave their lives for us and for us all to pray for those in the military today.
