Just curious.
I've been posting regularly here for five years or so. Who's counting? And most of us get an idea of where the others stand, politically speaking. I have pegged at least a dozen people into specific categories. I won't name them. But I think we all do it. And I'm curious: has anyone pegged me? This isn't really a game or contest. I'm truly curious. Do y'all think I'm left, right, center, or somewhere in the cracks? |

I'd have said medium rare, but you limited the possible scope of responses, so I'm leaning towards fascist.

Regardless of your politics, we all know how racist you are.

Man dude YOU are the one who needs to get over yourself. We knew it was a joke, and to be honest it was actually quite funny. It showed a side of you that you were able to poke a little fun at yourself. It was actually an endearing quality I dare say! Then you have to go "Chance it up" by posting that arrogant "get over yourselves" thingie and ruin it.
I think you may be wound a bit too tight. Heck even if we didn't get the joke part you added a smiley face. Really dude take a chill pill. Otherwise before you know it you will be punching clowns for busking spots... I mean again.

Maybe closest to center. I think you look at things rationally. I hadn't really thought about it in your case until you asked because you're not usually all up in arms about it. The only people that I had mentally assigned a political category to are the ones who are always super-vocal about the opposition.

From the posts I've read of yours, I classify you as pretty well balanced. Whether that is "center" or "moderate" I don't know. But I always find that you add insight and thoughfulness to each thread you're in - in a good way of course.

Straussian and Hayekian (are those adjectives?) and generally neo-conservative when it comes to politics; liberal when it comes to beer.

I don't put political labels on anyone. I believe most "thinkers" are a little of everything, depending on the subject.
I am conservative, liberal, left, right, center but mostly Whacko. I am not republican, democrat, libertarian, socialist or any such BS. I am me and only me. I dance to the beat of my own drum. I try to mind my own business and leave other's alone. Iven

That certainly fits the definition of at least one of those labels.
