When will be the release?

Another vote for, "Is it examinable?" Dynamite effect...just a little curious about what can be done after the un-link.

Some yes!

I emailed with Mr. Porper he said it will come out in 1-2 weeks and it will cost 350$.
He also mentioned that it could not be examined, but you could have a spectator have a quick look at a chain of three linked rings.

There is a nice easy switch so spectator will think they are examining it. Like any close up ring routine, keeping in motion and audience management will go a long way.

I tried it out on a few guys at the Magic Castle yesterday and all loved it.

Got a lot of "Wows"

Oh boy, Dean Dill came up with some amazing ring and string ideas with this.

Hi Pete,

This is very cool and a great add on to the Ghostly Linking Finger Ring.

BTW, as I was watching the video. I shared it with a friend of mine as I know he was working on a similar product and have showed me prototype of it before.

He has worked out a way for the ring to be examined as well.

Here is the link to the video demo of the ring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NahcGPeog00

Redefine,
Where/when will your friend's version be available?

Nice gimmick, but I cannot see how it could be used in the real world of showing a magic trick to a spectator. I have a key that can do the same thing, but never used it for that reason. Unless they can be borrowed or examined before or after the trick, it is only a toy that will set in drawer. That makes it an expensive piece of jewelery that will be in a box.

It may help if it is sized for each performer, then it could be done as a throw item after another miracle with a borrowed ring.

Would maybe be good for a substitute for the Himber Ring routine, that may be possible. Stage work, not as close up, as again, it would have to match exactly a borrowed ring.

I am not so sure, it might be available from most magic dealers soon.

Wmhegbli... I hate to disagree with you... if you saw some of the close up ideas Dean Dill has come up with using Porper's AmazeRing you would be convinced otherwise. It's all in management and routining.

What is the difference in this and Joes' linking finger rings. I own that version with the pencil would there be a need to use this one versus the AmazeRing? Any insight Pete

I offer nothing for examination; it tends to interrupt and delay your act, and it creates an atmosphere of puzzle-solving, turning each effect into a puzzle to be figured out. I come to entertain, not challenge specs to figure it out.

Looks interesting Pete!

Thanks!

Pete:

Will Dean's ideas and routines and/or yours be included as part of this trick?

BTW....the demo looks straightforward and quite mystifying, as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Pete
Is this the same ring size and design as the Ghostly Linking finger rings. I ask because the ring looks a little larger on the demo

Yep, it closely matches the Ghostly. May be a thousandth or so thicker to accommodate the inner mechanism.

Very nice Pete - I've been using the Ghostly in a routine I call FROC (Finger Ring On Cord) and I've been doing something similar to Dean. I've developed a way to do the work without the audible "clicking" It destroys them when they are holding on to both ends of the cord and you rub the ring back on.
