Lucavolpe: your finger size doesn't matter... you don't need to wear the ring.

Does this come with an ungimmicked dupe, like Ghostly Linking Finger Rings?
It's all in the reflexes.

Is it examinable?

Why does that always sound rude to me when asked by itself?
Probably because it is.

Nice ring Pete! Impressive.

I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about this.

Looks cool!

Why all the wondering about it being examinable? It seems obvious to me at least that a refresher in sleight of hand 101 and audience management 101 would be profitable in reminding some magicians that we STILL have to the "the work" and not just the prop. Smile

The one's asking about examining the ring obviously have no clue what the classic Himber Ring routine is supposed to look like.

I was thinking more like those asking if it can be examined don't know how to...

It's examinable when I do it!

Frank and Vlad are dead on. I have not saved up enough just yet to get the Ghostly Linking Finger Rings set, but I do still use what is probably-now-seen-as-ancient standard Himber ring. I have never had a problem with it, nor has any spectator ever discovered its M.O. In my opinion, far too many magicians get to the point that they are over-proving everything (props and actions/movements) to their audience. Whatever happened to classic (and oh-so-simple) psychological techniques to do this? While I agree that some things just beg for examination, and that certain effects can be enhanced by it in some way/shape/form, not everything needs to be handed out.

@Vlad: Nice idea for switching to अहिंसा - as opposed to the Latin spelling! I take it too many people thought it was part of your name?

I have owned the porper linking finger ring with the pen and it was a great effect. I have owned a few of Porper effects and the attention to detail is always great. I am sure this will be great as well.

I had a meeting with Joe Porper today and he's working on a price point to sell the pencil with the AmazeRing and/or on its own. Will let you all know when it's figured.

Ok Pete,
I ordered the new ring. It will be a good twist from my cherished ghost ring.
