Hello everyone !
`Ì need help ... Don't ask why, but as the title suggest, I would need to disolve an elastic band that dried on an old tango bitten coin internal design... Do you think I could try acid ? or should I test with dissolvant first ? ethanol ? What would you suggest ?

Try mineral spirits first. An old toothbrush might dislodge it.

Ya these can be a pain sometime. I use a dentist pick or just use a needle it should do the trick and like jazzy said mineral spirits and a brush wouldnt hurt either.
Just try that’s all you can do , never give up .

Acetone will dissolve plastics very fast and it won't hurt metal.

Thank you everyone, It worked fine with acetone
Sadly, I did a klumps thing, and broke a needle inside cause a part was blocking... My coin is now beyond repair but it gave me an idea for a bent coin routine final so I won't have to trash it...
