We have a local television station trying to recapture their market share lost a few years ago. I am looking for some ideas that could be used. First of all, are there any TV executives out here on the Café? Would a TV show be in order? A sponsor special? Attraction for new sponsors? Would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Steve

The magician apprentice would fall in the reality type shows that are hot lately in the US (and globally)...

What is the market? (Size/location?) Strongest demographic?
Broadcast not cable, correct? Network affiliate? (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX?)
Do they currently broadcast local programming and do they have a studio to produce it? (News? Local talk show?, etc.)

These first three questions will help determine the direction you'll go.
