Needing to burn some billets, slips of paper in envelopes, with as little mess and smoke and as quickly as possible, what does the forum suggest, from your experience?

How about a metal cap, say about the size of a spray can cap with a small amount of lighter fluid in it. Light the billet or slip of paper and drop it in the can. Fast flare up as the fluid ignites and the paper is gone. Just a thought off of the top of my head.

Thanks Ron, I'm also looking for smaller, lighter, cleaner burning envelopes and paper, off the shelf, if anyone has any suggestions.
