Quiet, you.

I am working..... on my tan!

(Sandal strap tan lines are irritating me.)
Blessings on thee, little man,
barefoot boy with cheeks of tan...
Outward sunshine; inward joy,
Blessings on thee, barefoot boy! :-D

Speaking of my tan, The weather has cooled considerably today and it appears I will have to wait longer before I can develop it.

Last night, Mark & I and all the other Toronto magicians went to the Aldo Columbini lecture.

Mark, I know you had left the lecture during the intermission so you missed out on the second half, but I was wondering what you thought of him?

I couldn't bloody hear him. I am getting deafer and deafer as the years go by. He did make some pretty offensive comments that amused me greatly. But then I have an evil sense of humour.

I was so amused by one of Aldo's offensive comments that I immediately posted it as my status update on my Facebook account when I arrived home last night. It was not up more than three minutes when I immediately got a private message from a female magician who was VERY displeased with my sense of humour. Not wanting to offend, I removed the post promptly. I was quite sure I'd get comments about it but alas this female magician was not too impressed with Aldo's quote.

Surprisingly, she did not un-add me as a friend

....I bet she has un-added Aldo however! Smile

Paul. Why do you cause so much bloody trouble? You were a right pillock putting that on Facebook in the first place. And it wasn't just any female magician. It was a famous one. You really have far too much time on your hands. It really is about time you got a job and contributed to society in the way that I do.

Well, it's been an interesting week for sure! I laughed, I cried, I became a part of it all. Thanks for sharing your wit and wisdom with all and sundry (even though I have heard it all before for the last 16 years or so...)

I will see you on June the 9th at the year-end Ring 17 Banquet!

And now I shall depart this section with this, my final post..

As Kreskin used to say, "I will not say goodbye but rather I will simply say....

.....to be continued."
