Hi Guys,

I would like to buy the Double Levitation. Does anybody know what is the difference between William Kennedy and Bill Smith version. How heavy are they? Is it a possible to use blue Mylar foulard or it is just black art? How close can be audience?
Thank you so much. Robert

Both good guys, call them they're happy to talk to you. You need a huge stage to do this.

Hi Robert,

I own the Kennedy's one.
It is superb!
The quality of the illusion and the care he puts in every detail is amazing.
It is HUGE AND HEAVY.
Itncluding cases it is almost a ton heavy.
It comes in two huge cases, more than 2 meters each.
And you will need a big stage to be able to perform and store this wonderful illusion.
You cannot perform with myllar.
But you better call Willie, he is a very nice guy and he will answer all your questions.

All the best!

Hi Hector,
thank you very much for your replay. I am working on the show for our famous singer and maybe the levitation could be great.Could you let me know how much time it will take setting up. How much place I will need above the stage?
Thank you and have a marvelous day

Actually, EDF makes the BEST one! They are the KINGS of mechanical props! I would go with them! For history, the Double Levi was invented by my buddy Tim White (David Copperfield's right hand man for over 20 year's before Chris Kenner).

From my experience, I would choose Mr. William Kennedy!

I believe the Double Levi was invented by Gary Ouellet and is called Airtime. It's first incarnation was on the Melinda Disney Special.

Let's get the history straight, Gary TOOK it from Tim White.

First time hearing that, but I do remember Melinda's was motorized, slow, and the new versions use a different lift method.

I also know that Magi like Rick Thomas and John Gabriel who first had them, paid a fee to Gary for it, and it was advertised as Gary's Airtime.

In trying to rationalize, De-motorizing and higher lift ability may have made it Gary's baby, just like the Doves to Rabbit got larger and changed to a "Blammo" via Kalin & Gabriel.

I have much respect for Tim White, great guy!!, like I said, this is the first time I have ever heard him attached to the double levi, but then again this is the world of magic.......

Dear Ray,

Gary took the idea for the double levi from me and I can prove it. This has been discussed here before.

Hey David! That's not surprising knowing Gary. I actually didn't get into the discussion of who created it. Just that I had seen Willie's and EDF's version of the prop.

Dear David Goldrake,

First of all, my compliments.

Please, accept my sincere apologies for not seeing your e-mail. In fact, I no longer see my e-mail on falconer@iol.pt , by chance I had to find something lost there and I found your message about my Torch Box !

I sent you one e-mail about this subject.

Sincerely Yours,

Falconer

Dear David,

How are you doing? Good to see you here.
Could you please tell us more about that?
When I bought it from Willie I thought it was Tim White's idea...

Thanks!

All the best! Smile
