I'm thinking about doing a 3 Fly. I'll end up with 3 silver coins at the end of a routine, and I think 3 Fly would fit great after it, I could swap one of the regular coins for a gaff if needed.
Anyone have a "fav" Three Fly? most practical for working situations and lay-audiences? Just trying to get some ideas. Thanks

Curtis Kam has a very nice visual coins across which uses a flipper - It's in her lecture notes 'Mr Eclectic'. It requires a flipper, but is one of the cleanest versions I've seen.

DC, like everyone else here I got my own way of doing this popular effect that's not hard to get down, amazingly deceptive and with a few nice moves to it. I PMd you in a unique way.

Daryl's 3Fly is excellent.
Also Ponta's is great. And I also like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpxvk93X0Ps

I'll sugest Rannie's B Fly, because is simple, easy, very practical and magical.

I use Dr. Michael Rubinstein's 3fly, with a slight variation, on New York Coin Seminar #1....Coins Across.

I have Michael Rubenstein's Coinvention lecture notes with the superb Retro Fly.
Lots of other good magic in those notes, too. |

Look at Mirage Et Trois by Eric Jones. After experimenting with gaffed versions of 3-Fly, I settled on Mirage Et Trois because it is a thing of beauty and requires no gaffed coins. Spectators get to examine the coins before you begin. It is relatively easy to learn if you have some basic coin skills to begin with - easier than the gaffed versions I've tried. And quite frankly, it looks more magical that most 3 Flys. Mirage Et Trois is a 3 phase routine. The middle phase is the 3 Fly routine. I just perform the middle section and I've had great reactions. Silver coins work best because newer Kennedy halves do talk a bit during some of the moves.

Eric Jones's Mirage Et Trios is an excellect choice. Also Reed McClintock has a has couple of great versions that enhance the standard 3Fly and are worth the extra work.

Gary Kurtz's 3Fly is also excellent, it is a part of his whole coin act, which is one of the best I have ever seen!

Gary Jones and Chris Congreave's DVD entitled, Flying Tonight. Several gaffed and ungaffed versions - great stuff!
To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.
