Phantoms can be played many different ways. Also, you have a choice as to how much you want to learn and reveal and when. This is a superior piece of work and with only 15 left, I would not be on the fence if considering this. I have only had mine for about a month, but I absolutely love it and have used it successfully on 2 occasions with so much to learn about it still.

I loved and was tempted many time to buy some of the Outlaw book tests.
But as English is not the main language that I perform I never did, because even if I pretend ( ) to read English fluently that is often not the case of my audience, but since a few day the Reflection book test is also available in french with some nice packaging ( will not quote the seller as this is not intended to be a advertising and it is easy to find out ): I know that this is an English speaking forum but I also know that they are some french performing artist among us so I thought that this would be a nice news to share, and would thank and love to see more translation / cooperation from Outlaw. So, so far, this is my favorite "Outlaw" book test ^^ , but still dreaming that Luna would one day be adapted also |

When I saw the outlaw website for the first time, I only had eyes for one booktest: WA, and that's the one I ordered eventually (although in the much nicer hardover edition).
why didn't I go for Luna, which had much more people hyping about it? Because I couldn't justify it, according to the character I play. WA is justifiable. I love WA, that's why I ordered it, otherwise I would just haven't ordered any of them. The booktest you choose, Highly depends on your character and what you can pull off. |

Thank you it was an interesting topic
Your best book really depends on what you are doing, your personality and the atmosphere you want to create. I added your votes by curiosity… I though you may be interested too Here the result from the first post of afinemesh on 18 June 2011 to 30 March 2012. (I am not sure if there were new books published since by outlaw and if the list would be much different now) 1. Luna trilogy 17 votes (with a preference for 1935 than 1936 and 1934) 2. Phantoms 15 votes 3. Witch’s almanac 13 votes 4. Ipswich 8 votes 4. Lilian’s diary 8 votes 5. Homicide trilogy 7 votes 6. reflection 6 votes 7. Darkspell 4 votes 8. Book of answer 3 votes |

Room Service, Year Book, Ash are a few newer ones.

I love Lun@, but WA is so versatile and remarkably magickal tome.

Hmmm, hadn't thought about Phantoms in a great while. Professor BCs first marketed book test I think.
For some unknown reason, I never performed this. I read it and studied the performance manual. Love the story too. Maybe a good project for the new year. |

I have to go with RS instead of Luna.

When I first read the description to Luna, I knew that this was the book test just MADE for me (and clearly the same experience was shared by many others). So much so, that I shortly sold my MOABT and Flashback books since I knew I would never perform them again.
