I stumbled on an auction on ebay that almost everyone is bound to miss.
My friend Bernard Reid, whose ebay name is Thaumaturge2, is moving out of the U.S. At 5 lbs. 7 oz., the book is too heavy to make the move overseas, and reluctantly, Bernie has to sell it. It is the first copy of my book to show up at auction--and I was surprised because I still have 27 of the 278 copies to sell. Here's the point: Bernard listed the book as "the Key by Culliton." He didn't mention Houdini in the auction title, so, no one is going to find this auction unless they are doing a search for Culliton. His opening bid is $99.95 and he has one bidder with three days to go. I sell the book for $195. If Bernie Reid says the copy he's selling is mint--the book is mint. Thaumaturge2 deservedly has 100% positive feedback. http://cgi.ebay.com/KEY-Patrick-Culliton......11f5512d |
