Hi
This seams more like a prank than a magic trick. I just order one because I can see this getting a good laugh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_sm1bEYIYE

I have not had a use for one of those, but I always liked the idea and watching others use them. This is just another item in a long line of 'borrowed and destroyed currency' effects. Those types of effects are classic and very comedic - and the larger the denomination of the bill, the bigger and better the reactions!
In my parlor show for years I used an effect with a bill going into an envelope, the envelope going into a stand/holder next to a lit candle. After pattering on and on about what we were doing, the candle eventually tipped toward the envelope containing their bill and lit it on fire. Of course, I was oblivious to the fact because by the time I turned around, the candle was upright and the envelope and bill were a smoldering pile of ashes... After a lot of "Oops" and "Oh bummer..." tension builders courtesy of yours truly, the bill was discovered in an impossible location. It is a great effect and always got lots of laughs! |

It's seems like a prank because it's not all that magical or entertaining.
Check out Terry Seabrooke's burnt note routine.

I used to sell these in a magic shop. I always thought if I had one I would open it up and use a real bill inside rather than a fake bill. The fake bill that is shreaded looks ok and goes by quickly but it always bugged me.
Also the sticker on the front is so bad. You could make something much better on your home cmputer. |

Hi
My counterfeit detector came today. Both my wife and daughter got a kick out of it. I know I'm going to have some fun with this thing. It does look like the bill is being shredded! My wife really thought the bill was being shredded. When I asked my daughter who's 23 years old why she laughed when I shredded her 50.00 dollar bill she said"Because I know you wouldn't shred my bill because you know I'd kill you". I really like this thing! It's the best 18.00 I ever spent.

Hi guys, May I know if it is okay to use different currency? do I have to print my own shredded bill? lastly, is it instantly repeatable? Many thanks!!!
