Oh, and J-Mac - what you are doing is EXACTLY the right way to make the effect a miracle, and what magic is all about.

Okay, a lot of people have asked me how fast one can execute the ring chain.
Here's a link to an anti-gloss demo - raw iPhone footage: Click here This is a very practical tool for the job! |

I have this and have been using it, I have no connection to Mr. regal at all,
The effect is as fat as you see in the demo, it is also just as easy to do, I know many who have this use a ring hank and for many reasons , it works even better, David Regal talks about that as well, and offers handling for a hank, the idea that the spectator is holding it add's another dimension, personally I do it just as you see it in the demo, my false transfer is not as good as David Regal, but I have never been questioned on it, this is simply a great effect, under priced in my mind. |

In the middle of a show a couple of weeks ago, I could actually hear a guy in the audience compare me to Woody Allen. Really? I look like Woody Allen? I stopped the show to talk to the guy - I almost couldn't continue.

You look NOTHING like Woody Allen! I'm a huge Woody Allen fan and a huge fan of yours but you guys are apples & oranges both in looks and in style.

I couldn't get past the idea of a man leaving his wife for his underaged step daughter. I know mentioning this will get me in deep s#%*t with Woody fans, imagine that. He does that and I'm the one in deep. And for the record, woodman can't hold a candle to DR. In my humble opinion.

That's true. Woody Allen's false transfer isn't nearly as good as DR's. He's pretty talented on the clarinet, though.

That happened almost 20 years ago and he's still with her. Just putting it in perspective.
Anyway, back to the Regal Ring Chain...

The Ring Chain - a gimmicked stainless steel neck chain that allows for quick loading of a borrowed ring - is now being performed by people other than myself, and I'm glad!
I think I shocked people by coming out with a product that features two things that scare some magic-buyers: 1) A false transfer of an object, and 2) The secret concealment of an object. I think some magic-buyers want to see some gimmick that involves hidden threads, electronics, something can can basically work its "magic" when a button is pushed. This is the opposite of that, and that fact seems to have stunned some people. Of course, The Regal Ring Chain uses the same method as the traditional card-to-wallet...one of the greatest close-up effects in the world, with a method that, if baldly described, does not sound like a real method! The Ring Chain, as bold as it may seem, is built on classic principles of magic. If you want to get rid of the scary parts of the routine, you can use a ring hank. For now, here are a few unsolicited testimonials from people who actually perform with the chain - and yes, some were surprised at the reaction it gets: “I want you to know that I used your Ring Chain last weekend for a two hour strolling magic event, and it killed!!! Thanks for convincing me that it was a powerful audience piece.” “I new this was a winner when my wife, a magic critic, told me she was fooled and impressed with the effect…elegant and classy.” “Did it for a couple of rather fetching girls on Abbott Kinney over the weekend, and they let out a blood-curdling shriek --- always a good sign.” “…this will be a keeper.” “This rocks! … this has been a great purchase. Excellent product, super price.” *** I'll shut up now. David |

Im still getting emails saying that David has ripped me off etc. Let me go on record as saying " David has in no way ripped me off. He has thought of a different method to the effect and I strongly recommend that you check his out too. My own as some strong points that his does not and his most definitely has strong points that mines does not. It is always good to have a few methods for the same effect too. So yeah, check his out folks"
hope that clears things up Alan |

I did this last night at a convention for Jewelers, I used my CW Ring Cruncher, and it was a huge hit, beyond what I thought it could ever be,
I borrowed a large gold ring, "polished" it in the cruncher, poured out all the tiny , but shinny gold bits, I showed the "Gold Cleaning Machine " empty, and using DR's remaining handling, removed my necklace with the borrowed ring. |

This is so nice. Makes "the work" very easy to do. This is something I will definitely be using!
