How sturdy are the penguin copper cups? Do they have enough weight for working outdoors? They are not gonna wobble or blow over on my table? Are they able to take a beating?

Thanks in advance!

They are not consistent. You need to ask the right question, instead of wasting bandwidth and space by posting separate threads about every different cup that catches your eye. Also, you need to look at the cups and balls museum.

See if Tom Frank has any Phoenix cups left.

Thanks Bill. I did email you regarding the Cups and Balls museum a few days ago and have not heard back. I apologize for wasting bandwidth. I have already emailed Tom but have yet to receive a reply.

Best,
Brian

Another Option is to find a set of Original Charlie Miller Cups made by Magic, Inc.

They're workers....a MAN's cup!

Michael Lee has some interesting cups for sale. He just sent me a list of items. One is a set of Gazzo cups by RnT II.

Since Jay died in 2005, it might be a bit late to try to get a set from him...just sayin!

They're built like tanks. Capacity isn't as large as some of the newer designs, but they should serve you well.

I've been using the set of cups made by johnson for a few years and have been very happy with them, I find the weight is very nice and the craftmenship (forgive the spelling) is well done. Just what I think about this particular set of cups and balls.

I used the Charlie Miller's exclusively for over decade. Truly a versital cup. The only short coming that I ever found with them was the attick space- pretty tiny. But very easy to work around. I very much regret selling my personal set. I am sure you will enjoy this set.
God's grace rocks! It makes a good cups and balls routine look pretty boring in comparison.

A couple of years ago, I found some Asian-made flyback paddles at Garden Ridge. These had small brown balls, about the size of the ones that Ross Bertram used to include with his cups. They may be hard to find now, but if you just keep looking something will show up.
