Here is a new comedy prop that is not just for ventriloquists - not just for comedians - not just for kid shows - not just for magic shows...... well the ideas for it are just beginning. We introduced it a few days ago at the Ventriloquist convention and there are 100 entertainers already signed up for it. I thought magicians here would like to see it and suggest some uses for MIC MOUTH.

It looks so funny!
But I don't know actually what is the use?
Is it a microphone built in the big mouth?
Or the mouth is a radio or some sound device that can produce sound?

YouYen... Good questions! No it's not our big mouth puppet.... It's new. The mic is not real... it is a fake mike holding the mouth, so you can control it with a lever.

You can create the voice and talk for the volunteer.... or you can use it to Lip-Sync or Karaoke to songs. There are many uses.. Click on the link and watch the videos....

This could be amusing during a "Rabbit in the Hat" puppet routine. If you do a section where he's doing impressions (ie, the old "Bugs Bunny" while holding up a rubber roach), put this in front of his mouth and have him say (with some help from the PA, or your vent skills if you have them) something along the lines of "Hey, I'm a big geek with no friends! I think I'm really funny, but I'm not." Ask him who the impression is of, then act appropriately offended when he says it's you.

Great idea! Also use it with a LIVE RABBIT! Make your live rabbit talk after production!

That's awesome! Can't see using it on a spec, personally, as it might potentially embarrass them or make them feel like they're being used as a prop, but using it on yourself, an animal, a puppet, etc, could be really funny.

Using a spectator as a prop is great fun! : ))
