Any Sarah Jane fans, I'm selling this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sarah-Jane-Companion......19766969
Is the special edition Sarah Jane Companion Vol. 2 issue of Doctor Who magazine. In new condition. The actress who played SJ recently passed so it should be more collectible now. I meant to grab the regular Doctor Who magazine and periodical sales are final so I'm trying to make some of what I spent back.

Pakar, you should check out the Jon Pertwee years. He was the one who did the most martial arts and also some magic tricks as the doctor. Man he was so cool. They invented the Venusian Aikido for him because the people in charge wanted the doctor to be able to defend himself but not to violate his non-aggressive nature.
At first they called it Venusian Karate, but then they changed it to Aikido and he once supplemented with Martian Karate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMAab89iINM In general, I think the David Tennant and Matt Smith episodes are a good place for hooking new fans.

1. David Tennant.
2. Karen Gillan (Amy Pond). Being a Campbell, I adore the Scottish accent. I also like Alex Kingston in general, and as River Song in particular. 3. I haven't one, really. I thought that Blink was especially well done, however. 4. n/a 5. 2007, perhaps. At my daughter's insistence. Last week my wife and I were on vacation near Devil's Postpile. We walked into the Devil's Postpile ranger station on Wednesday to ask if they could identify a flower of which my wife had taken a picture. Whilst inside, a call came in over the walkie-talkie and one of the rangers ran outside. A moment later he ran back inside, into the back room, then ran outside again and off toward several other buildings. I commented to my wife that it seemed like a Doctor Who episode . . . a David Tennant Doctor Who episode. |

I liked Tom Baker because he was the first Doctor I ever really saw. But David Tenant was amazing. Matt Smith REALLY impressed me so I am going with him.
Amy Pond is also fantastic so I go with her also. I also think a fav villian needs to be there. Daleks and my favorite episode, well WAY too many.

Got through the 1st episode. It was tricky though. I've got a system down now for when it freezes.

A little OT, but there's a webcomic out there whovians should look up.
http://comics.shipsinker.com/?id=16 He actually starts with a short series about a film fan which he calls 24fps but on page 16, he starts "The Ten Doctors" in which all ten Doctors have to work together (in groups) to stop a universe spanning menace. After that story (which goes on for a LONG time) there's a series about a Roman in an alternate Rome where they developed gunpowder. Then, after a while, he reintroduces the Doctor with a story crossing the Doctor with characters from the old series "Forever Knight." (Two incarnations of the Doctor run into Nick, Lacrox and Janette in two different time streams) This story alternates with the Roman story and there's a quick cameo in the Roman series that won't make any sense if you're not a "Forever Knight" fan. For you 2nd Doctor fans, the next story is about the 2nd Doctor taking a UNIT historian to the 15th century to uncover a historical mystery. Currently, I'm on the next story which has the 6th Doctor taking his companion to a pop music concert in order to find out how the band manages a highly sophisticated holographic light show in the 1970's. (It's crossed over with "Jem and the Holograms." This will either be interesting or painful)

1. Tom Baker
2. I don't recall her name, but I can picture her. I expect it's "Romana II, Lala Ward" because of Mary Mowder's answer. 3. I don't have a favorite episode. 4. If I was interested in buying anything from the show, it would be the Tardis! After that, the sonic screwdriver. 5. I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, so I can't tell you what year I started watching a TV show. It was a long time ago.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
