The two really don't compare:
Pro wrestling is carefully orchestrated. Therefore, while you may see a bad hockey game or a bad football game, you almost never see a bad wrestling match. Now, think about that: How many times have you seen a BAD magician. (Magic could use the kind of thinking that has made pro wrestling so successful!) cheers Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

Or picks someone up and throws them through the announcers table......without breaking the table.....that's a penetration I'd like to see

Back when the WCW was still together there was a bit of magic mixed in when the Ultimate Warrior made his return. He would appear and disappear.

Gotta miss those days of the wcw warrior story line. Bulldog hurt himself badly on warrior's trap door though. Tisk tisk.. anyway.... I have another question that follows up in a way. Has there been any major injuries in the world of magic?

I thought I heard that Melinda got mauled by one of her show tigers.
One magician/escape artist did a buried alive stunt using a 6 foot hole, a lucite casket and a couple of tons of wet cement. He didn't take into concideration the weight of the wet cement and it colapsed the casket with him in it. I believe he died. Flash paper accidents. Pyrotechnique accidents to innumerable. The list goes on. Doug I once got a really bad paper cut attempting the hot shot cut.

That wasn't intended to read that way, Magus, but now -- on second thought -- there's more truth there than I realized.

Coolmoney, you forgot about the Torn & Restored Man. Effect: Hulk Hogan shows an ordinary man. He proceeds to tear him in half, but promptly restores him. Inside his mouth is the selected mouth. Secret: the man is a contortionist, bent in half. He wears an inflatable fake upper half. After the tear, he simply straightens up, the fake half being crunched up and palmed in Hogan's huge hands. The card is forced with your favourite method.
