I'd like to join the wave of self-delusion that has exhibited itself on this topic so far and say "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead, but I must be honest. A more representative theme song for me would be "Dancing in the Show Tonight" by Ween.

At one point in my life every song on Billy Joel's Glass Houses had something to do with what was going on in my life at the time.
I still feel "You May Be Right" fits me pretty well. A few others that have been close to me: "Sunglasses at Night" "The Tale of Sweeney Todd" "Missionary Man" "The Year of The Cat" "Drove All Night" Greg
One of my favorite quotes: "A critic is a legless man who teaches running."

Hmmm, it'd have to be either "Doctor Worm" by They Might Be Giants, or "That Summer Feeling" by Jonathan Richmond. Just like the first one. The second because I'm now back at work after my summer break.

The entire album. Good Morning.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

I would have gone with the hitchcok theme, but I guess I am too late for that... So how about the theme to 2001? I know that is not the real name of the piece it is "thus spak..." I can neither spell nor pronounce the last name in the title. <g>

Cliff G,
Thus Spake Zarathustra was the Richard Strauss piece in 2001:A Space Odyssey. The original title is from a book by Friedrich Nietszche. Cheers - El Lamo
