So recently our good buddy Pat Culliton (HoudinisGhost) gave me a large cache of his personal research papers to examine before donating them to the Conjuring Arts Research Center. (Thanks again, Pat!) Among the hundreds of clippings, photocopies, notes, and letters, are some real Houdini gems.

I've decided to launch a special series on my blog, "The Culliton Papers", where I will dig in and showcase a few of these gems. I've just posted the first installment today -- a letter that Jess Willard wrote to the L.A. Examiner about his contentious encounter with Houdini in 1915. Pretty interesting stuff as I'm not sure "Willard's Side" has ever been told. Enjoy.

Could Houdini have been Charles Lindbergh...in 1920! I've just posted my next installment of The Culliton Papers.

Was this going to be Houdini's next movie after 'Haldane of the Secret Service'? New Culliton Papers up today.

Looking to get the next installment Culliton Papers up tomorrow. Just a small morsel of HH trivia this time, but it's something I never knew, and it answers a question a reader posted in another story a while back. I'll get it up tomorrow if I HAVE THE TIME (that's a hint).

Just posted a new "Culliton Papers" on my blog -- the story of an accident from 1922 that may or may not support a pretty provocative theory about Houdini's psyche.

Did Houdini have claustrophobia?
