I'm getting the "Jackson" style with "CJ". I also believe that Tim still uses wooden controls on his newer figures. Check out this video for his build information.

Earlier I stated that the headstick was Walnut. Tim states in this video that it is Mahogany!

The levers look metal in the video, but he says they are handcarved, so they must be wooden.
The stick itself looks the same except instead of having the strings going up through the base of the neck, it looks like now he has them going in around the top of the headstick.
Another thing I like about mine is the way he jointed the elbows, they're not just stuffed tubes sewn in the middle.

Philip and David, I am back, I had been busy being summer is the busiest time in my agency, at the same time I am getting the children’s Ventriloquist and magic show going; I have completed about 10 shows with great feedback.

I own a 50 foot boat; I had the boat in Monterey and recently moved it up to the bay area.

On the way to San Francisco in the middle of the ocean the boat had mechanical problems; I was able to make it to the San Francisco Bay on one engine, but had to be towed into my slip; finding a suitable mechanic has been almost a full time job; the boat was repaired and the weather was favorable for cruising the bay, so I have been spending time on the boat.

I have also participated in a four day archery competition and extended it to a week traveling in the RV trailer.

Philip and Dave, I am back here now, thanks for the concern; all the time I was gone, I was thinking that Philip should buy a new figure.

FYI: the Chuck Jackson figure is still for sale on Ebay. IF you use "Buy It Now", the seller (NOT me) will throw in a custom carrying case. For the price, not a bad deal at all, IMHO. My vent family is already large enough and the economy won't allow any more adoptions for awhile anyway:o( Glad to see you're back Howie:o)

I spent the last five days in Tampa, visiting my oldest daughter and her husband and their one-year-old boy and their brand new girl. Just in case, you know, anybody, like, you know...missed me or anything.

Of course we missed you, if you're not here, how are we supposed to talk you into buying another figure?

So if you haven't been home, you haven't even got to see your new figure yet?
BTW, you mentioned having to get a case for him, Clinton posted on his blog yesterday he only has a couple left.

Yeah, I read that he was gonna get outta the case business. I need to get in touch with him. I'm spendin' a LOT of money this week, what with the new figure to come...the need for a new case...the airline ticket to and from...and the 800 dollar vet bill (I boarded the two dogs, asked that they get caught up on their shots and have physicals...and, sure enough, Cassie had a urinary tract infection, so there was medicine to buy). Fortunately I'd gotten my twice-annual check from the publisher, so I had me some money. Smile

I just noticed the message from Steve at the Dummy Shoppe. Hey, Pilgrim, you think I'll buy just ANY figure named "Jackson?" Not so. Heck, I told Wanlu well over a year ago I was done buying figures and now look what I've done. Tell JET, however, that, should there ever be a new figure named "Marshall"...

I just went back to Dan's site to watch the video on that figure again. It is so cool.

I imagine he should be on your doorstep soon so you can do more than watch the video.

He was kicking and screaming when I packed him. He can't wait to get to his new home. He just could not make friends with the Marshall family!! LOL

I'm figuring Dan threw one or two in the box and sent 'em to me along with my new one.

Servante, got bad news for you. Knowing Dan, trust me, he didn't do that.
He'll give them to a good friend like me, right??????

Just for that, when I get a couple of Marshalls in the box, I won't even tell you which ones. Smile

You won't have to, there'll be a police report about the missing ones.

And I, my friend, I will have...an alibi.

All of the vent figures will vouch for my innocence.
