Signed up a little while ago. Had a real hard time playing lightning at first. Something about (almost all) computer interfaces: I just can't see the whole board. If you're up for a game, I'm Magnus Eisengrim--Mr. Mediocrity in lightning chess.

If you want a slower game... more of a correspondence pace... try redhotpawn.com. Typical time controls are one to three days per move... a modern version of postal chess.

Chess.com also has slow correspondence-style games, and many tournaments at multi-day time controls, many of which are segregated by rating and/or favorite opening. The chess.com tournaments are great.
