Hello again

For most of the INK effects shown...the ink is really on the cellophane and is really erased by you or a spectator. INK will be released in France in a few days (the creator gets a short lead time here)..then it will be available from a few dealers around the world for two weeks..then INK will be available to all dealers after that.

Hope this helps. Have to say I love INK. And the method is just as astonishing.

Janet.

Meh.

Aside from the tilting hat this looks remarkably like the principle used on those kids drawing pads where you pull a lever to erase the drawing already done.

Its essentially a pleasant enough way of doing a reveal but not for me ---especially with two fingers apparently needing to work like billy ho behind the pack.

If you are holding the box up for the reveal, the position of the fingers is irrelevant. I agree that the effect resembles an Etch-a-Sketch, but erasing a drawing is not the same as changing one drawing to another, and Etch-a-Sketch does not use ink that can be rubbed off later on. The method here is not obvious and the effect is going to be very startling to a spectator. The fact that you could spin this as a communication from the spirit realm makes this an interesting and highly dramatic way to reveal a card-related prediction. I already have a number of ideas.

Janet, or anyone who knows, how close can the spectators be to the box? Can this be done standing close to 2 or 3 people, or would I have to keep some distance as seen in the video? Thanks.
Some think Houdini used trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage.

Hello Gene

Your audience can be six inches a way without exposing anything.

I wouldn't say that... In reality it's not "exactly" like in the video.

It's like the TT, or the marked deck, it's when you KNOW that you see it, but I am pretty sure the spectators won't notice anything. I have to test!

I am, but my only concern is what I said previously. The method is not what I had imagined at all, nothing to do with the pressure made by the fingers along the sides of the box.

Does the DVD come with a gimmick or is it a Papercrane construction job?

Thanks to Steve who did explain what it's all about

I must say it's a good Idea pitty the Demo was not made a bit more clear !

and the fact that there is little buzz,

I think Proves the Point a Simple Demo instead of constant cut aways would have made this more of a talking point than it is at the moment

This must be one of the worse Video Demo's I have seen this Year !
