2 years ago I visited Manila on business and I used the opportunity to meet Rannie Raymundo, we had lunch together and he did some of his coins routines for me, great guy. At the end of the lunch he gave me some presents including four 1 Piso Philippines coins, similar to the ones he used with me. These coins are between 1/2 and 1 dollars coins in size.
Also when I went to Argentina to visit my family I met Mr Tango (Marcelo Insua) and he showed me all the stuff he does with coins, so 2 years later I put 1 and 1 and send the 1 Piso coins to Marcelo and now I got 2 perfect shells (one tail, one face)for my new and unique set (besides Rannie's) It is really true that the Magic Café is a great place to meet great people Thank you Rannie and Marcelo Here are pictures of the coins |

Are the two shells included above? Be nice to see pix of them!
Thanks! Jim |

The shells are the 3rd coin on the first row and the one in the middle on the second row. They look shining because I did not clean the other coins.

I picked up a set of these coins in the Philippines (minus the shells). They are thin and good size, being slightly smaller than a silver dollar. They are very slick, so they handle smoothly and noiselessly.
The one thing I would add would be milling on the edges. |

Thanks pab! I figured the shiny ones, but in the top row the two middle coins look shiny. Plus sometimes the camera flash makes any coins look shiny!
Those look really nice. Love 'em. Jim |
