I'm looking for some cool routines or things you can do with a copper/silver coin. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would strongly recommend you the New York coin magic volumes 2,3 and 4.. In my opinion if you get these dvds you won't need ever anything else for copper silver routines..

If you are just starting in magic or coin magic, swayne, you might want to pick up Modern Coin Magic by Bobo.

Thanks for the suggestions. Just got my coin today, a copper/silver made from a soft morgan. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

NY Coin Seminar set is a gold mine! For something additional, however, I like Bannon's Shanghai Surprise. It uses 2 Chinese tokens as well as the C/S coin. You 'transform' a half dollar twice with coins from different parts of the world. Then the finale. Short routine with lots of magic. Easy to perform, great build, and a surprise climax. Bannon's Imposibilia video and book teach it.

There's Cop/Sil/Brass in the book Coinmagic, and if you have a shell, there's a great routine called Backhanded in Doug Brewer's The Unexpected Visitor.

I just looked it up! The Hank routine is in Silver&the Pasteboard's ! And I found one more C.T.H. routine In my Las Vegas notes called Silver Alchemist ! It's a no touch 3-3 Silver Brass Tranpo In a coin purse, with a kicker! You can use a copper-silver coin if you want! But you don't get that nice Hole trou the coin!
OK I have more stuff But it's not in print yet! |

Swayne.... Here is a quick "phase" you might want to incorporate in your other routines. It utilizes Vinny's Crimp in 2 ways... as a change and as a change over.
