The story possibilities that occur tome are all so sad! I can see how Forever doesn't necessarily have to be used to spook.

I've had several PM's asking a couple of specifics I'll answer here.
1. Forever has encoded werks and will not trigger any other outlaw product 2. When you hit the T/S the doll rises up to the window and stays there until you hit the T/S again, then it will sit back down. This can be repeated as many times as you like. |

From the Forever web sight: Love the broken doll arm, but how much to replace them when they shatter |

(Daffy has blown himself up for a grand finale; the audience cheers) Bugs Bunny: That's terrific, Daffy! They loved it. They want more. Daffy Duck: (as a ghost rising to heaven) I know, I know, but I can only do it once. -- Show Biz Bugs |

I had to set the scene using a "scenario" on the web page to show the elements of how the device can play out.
I thought it was little Twilight Zone-ish (I have always been a huge Rod Serling fan, as I'm sure most of us here in Spooky are) I would suggest keeping a good grip on the arm |

However, A single effect such as Forever can have an entire show created around it. Please remember everyone, that with Halloween coming up and many of us getting our s*ances ready to go potential clients and audience members will google it and will no doubt find our conversations here. You may not think it's that important but it will definitely happen. |

Look at the price tag... I see a Huge difference between 'Dolly' and 'Forever' !

I have Dolly and really want to get Forever whatever inspired it. I don't think I would use them together but...hmmm, maybe
I just had a thought that I could create my own version of Forever with Dolly Darko. I could do it pretty quickly but, it just wouldn't be right IMO Besides, my woodworking skills suck!! BAD!!!! |

Roth, would you be able to post a pic of the doll sitting in the box?
I keep thinking about this effect and it could play really strong and creepy. Just imagine...By candlelight a curious victim looks into the box. The arm is then shown but wait, scratch scratch scratch...what was that sound? It sounded like it was coming from the box...OMG!!!!!! I LOVE this!!!! |

"I didn't want to go with an over the top "scratchy" sound or "knocking" coming from the box" there is a very subtle intermittent scratching sound that is barely audible and part of the "program". Not sure where you read that it makes a knocking sound on command Todd, it doesn't. |

It may be cheaper but it looks identical. If it was anyone else copying something and not even crediting them then they would be fed to the wolves.
Cheaper it may be, but then so is imitation designer gear. I'm quite frankly shocked. Tut tut... |
