Hi Guys,
Normal story of being a longtime lurker and rarely posting videos. However, being in a hospital for 3 weeks and finally having my own room, I have decided to take the plunge and actually show some of the gambling stuff I have been working on for fear of boredom otherwise. Whilst I know all this stuff works in a gambling act, I would like some constructive criticism. Anyway included in the youtube links is some table faro work, bottom deal, second deal. There are some mistakes but that's because I have limited internet access/computer access. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B_FTB8ocms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vCJ0mIdR-E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CpvM0Y6DL4 |

Some thoughts. If you're doing 8 perfect out faros, its only because you're working with a stack. the advantage of that is that you can memorize the 8 cards that will come at 26, which makes the cut at the center an easy no brainer. I highly recommend that approach, because I see little value in being able to perfectly table faro a deck where you don't know what the 26th card is. other than that, the one thing I'd suggest is that you work on riffling the cards more, as the whole point of doing a faro on the table rather than in the hands is to simulate a riffle shuffle. Without getting your thumbs in on the act and riffling off the cards, there's no point to what you're doing. Still, you're getting there. Getting the weave is an important step, and it's a really hard move. I've only recently gotten to the point where I'm at all comfortable with it and it still needs a lot of work after months and months of practice. so keep at it and best of luck.

Thanks jfquackenbush. I did see that myself, unfortunately one of the reasons I am currently in hospital is because my memory has impaired, lots of the things that I am doing are rather mechanical in nature but on the road to recovery will definitely reshoot a video. Also thought I would shoot another video, any criticism is warmly received.

You do well with the weave and that is a difficult part. I would suggest that you relax your fingers a little bit, otherwise, well done. Keep up the practicing.

Thanks for the kind words. I shall definitely try and get a more relaxed feel.
