This is not a joke, nor is it a plea for money. I just wanted to relate a story:
Over a period of time, I lost two friends in their 50s to brain cancer. After the death of the second friend, I thought back and realized that there was a noticeable change in the behaviors of both of them leading up to their diagnoses. They would argue about the most trivial things. They would make really off-the-wall statements and suggestions about various topics we were discussing. One was a craftsman, and the quality of his work decreased noticeably. In both cases, I now wish I had said or done something, but I just chalked it up to mid-life crises. Well, about a year ago, one of my co-workers started exhibiting similar behaviors. I didn't say anything to him, but I saw his wife in the parking lot one day and I told her about my two friends. She said that she had also noticed some changes, and she got him to go to the doctor. They did a brain scan, found a small, but operable, tumor, and removed it. As of this week, he has been cancer-free for one year. This just goes to show that it is worth it from time to time to "interfere".
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Wow, fantastic to hear, well, the latter part, not the loss of your friends.
My aunt passed away having brain cancer the other year. It was hard to watch her deteriorate over time.
