FIRST let me say up-front that “My Experience & Proven Systems” on how I handle fund raising is “NOT For Sale”, so I just want everyone to know that I am NOT ‘pitching’ anything here nor am I trying to earn any kind of weird marketing brownie-points by sharing a few simple insights here about the fund raising models… I love and use many of the principles over my lifetime in business and so I am passionate and experienced… just sayin’. NOT pitching anything, JUST Helping if I can, ok?
Hey Brother Ed, It’s fine… no big deal bud. – Simply put, all we are largely saying is “K.I.S.S.” (Keep It Super Simple) and “Get To The Point” with as many real benefits to the buyer as possible as quickly and simply as possible. (I know… I should talk, hu? Ha!) Second, it will take some time and effort to get it working as smoothly as you would like… that’s just life and though Jim’s info and Mine will allow you the benefit of getting there faster by learning from our years of refining experiences, you will want to continue to “practice” at the business as well as the product/solution delivery itself… again, just life. I can’t go into too much detail (as I said to you privately) and As YOU Already Know, my particular developed and proven system was not designed to be an online pitch book… (and what I've seen on your site doesn’t appear to be anything I shared from my experience or recommended with the acceptation of a few select phrases... and like I said last post; only 'small bits n' pieces' is all I could recognize of the total recipe) so I can NOT speak to that part of your thinking there. Yes, I certainly Do I use some online elements… of course, just in the proper (for me based on my results and experience, which is what I shared with you privately.) balance and measure, but it was NOT designed to be “Sans You” as the methods for serving the relationships with their success solution. – Again, just sayin'. No biggy. I’d be happy to chat with you directly again and clear up what ever confusion there is about my proven methods for sure if that would be of value… Is there something wrong with just doing what JIM has proven to work in his system (Which You Have Chosen To Use… That’s Good!) and simply start of by doing that first? Like I said, maybe just start getting some results by simply DOING What He Offers, (or call him if you need more help with that… he’s usually good about that stuff, as am I) and THEN, as you do it more n’ more, LEARN More n’ more, THEN tweak as you test and apply and make it more for “yourself” as you grow-along doing more and more events and fund raisers for the community. Hello Ed.
One thing I will say is that it helps if the school, or someone on the PTO board, already knows/likes and trusts you. Because the thing is...it sounds too good to be true! It really does. I mean, there's NO out of pocket expenses, NOT much work (on their part)...and everyone has a BLAST!! And they make lots of money. Oh,..and so do YOU!! The schools I've had the most success doing this with are the ones I had already done shows for...so the school knew me, AND the kids knew me. That is not to say it won't work if you go in cold,...but looking at your site, if there's any confusion or doubt on their part they will not try it. Alan really took my Magic Show & Ice Cream Social idea and ran with it. Now I think he makes more money from it than I do! With a little work, you can do the same.

Alan's site does look good.
Being in the daycare business I see a lot of fundraising offers. I constantly get calls about selling candy, candles, cookie dough, seasonal products, etc, to raise money. It seems to be a highly competitive market. Jim's program looks different from most. It looks like something a group could really get excited about doing. Well done Alan. Tom
