I thought I'd post this, even though I'm not a vent. I hadn't seen this clip in over 20 years. It turns out that JTO passed away a within a few months of the taping, as he started to become famous after his Gong Show and Star Search wins. I still remembered many of the lines in the routine.

I am so glad to have seen this!!! Brilliant!

I thought it was something. Like I was just telling someone else recently, if I'd seen that little puppet in a store somewhere, I probably wouldn't have even considered it, and if I did, I would have thought it only good for a kid's show, but there he is, entertaining adults with it and a very good bit of entertainment it was. What a shame he passed away so young.
