Imagine, taking two borrowed soda pull tops and visibly linking them together or having them link in a spectator’s hand!
Just as easily, you visibly unlink the pull tops and hand them back out for full examination! This is just one of the many effects that are possible with Mr. Maric's Pull Top. Effects: * Linking 2 Pull Tops * Linking 3 Pull Tops * Pull Top Thru Straw * Pull Top Thru Fork * Pull Top Thru Hand * Pull Top From Shoelace * Stretching Pull Top (Bonus Effect) Features: Repeat Instantly. No Difficult Sleights. Perform Surrounded. Items are Examinable. Any pull top in the world can be used; Even a pull top from a spectator’s drink can be used. Includes: Gimmicks, DVD (English & Japanese). Effects and handling are clearly explained by Mr. Maric. Demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvwmaqLuVc8

Couldn't this same effect be accomplished with a swi**h and a self-made "gimmicked" pull tab?

This looks nice. I will wait for more reviews before I make my decision.

I don't have this, but linking pull tops together is something I've been doing for a very, very long time. I just make my "gimmick" at home using a pair of scissors. I haven't seen the method that I use in print or on video anywhere but I've never believed it to be original because of how obvious the method was. Has anyone seen this published before?

Well I got this today. To start I better confess I luv linking effects and have been making my own linking tabs for awhile now. Alan Rorrison has a fantastic routine for a ring and beer/soda tab.
These are expensive for what you get. They are specially manufactured tabs that can be split and it being vertually invisible, compared to my home made ones. They look exactly like a normal pull tab. You get a supply but if you destroy the tab as in Alans routine you'd go through them quickly. For that routine the flow and routineing is so justified I suppose these would be overkill. It would be nice to use just because they are so clean however not really necassary. I'd like to find out if refills for those who purchased the original Pull Top DVD will be available at a reasonable price. So yes, I like them and they show on the DVD switching in the gimmick tab, very easy, but for the money would have liked more tabs or at least a contact to be able to purchase more at a discounted price |
