Why would the box allow a roll that doesn't bounce off the wall?

I'm wondering if it was really the scoot being used here.

It was, a friend of mine works there and had to go to a meeting and saw the tape. They were limit players with a lot of balls (not much brains it seems). They played on empty reserved games, no turn, no nothing, and just went for the jugular. At least in the later plays. I'm told the dice usually only made it halfway through the Come.
Interestingly the two accused are both Poker Stars Pros out of Argentina.

If they think it's being done on purpose and with ill-intent, they'll no roll it. If they don't, or if they don't realize what's going on, it gets by. Jason

Holy cow! So much for the mystique of casino security, what kind of croupier can't spot THAT? What are all those cheating experts getting paid consulting fees for?

I know of a casino near my place where the dealers are only taught BJ in class when they get hired and the rest of the games are learned on the table by standing behind a dealer during a live game and watching... they even gave it a sophisticated name ("shadow training") Also, this same casino has a lot of roulette supervisors that never dealt the game, and you should see the amount of overpays and underpays they ok...
