Okay, if the Lebanon post disappeared, I'd like to post a member request that Dan keep us informed about the current state of release for this new utility item. I'd also like to ask Dan to post some photos, if he would. As this is a member request, I do hope it won't be regarded as an advert and removed.
Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in this product other than wishing to buy one when they come to be released.

Ok, if that little post from lebanon was an advert then almost all posts by outlaw effects should go, and half the magic café should be cleaned.

Cirrus,Outlaw has some Banners on site! That was kind of the issue.
Dan said he was working on getting one. And,others can post about someone's wares,it is not suppose to be vendor's without a advertisement posting their own goods.

Yes, and I have also a question for Dan:
After buying the item, can I change by myself the picture inside the locket? |

Ok, time to answer some questions without blatant self promotion!
Francisco - you can change the picture as many times as you wish. There are 60 to choose from, all that is required is to cut out the image you need and stick it in the locket. The interior of the locket can also be changed to suit the mood, you get 3 to choose from and all three are included, black for death, red for love and green for life, nature although you can just choose whatever looks best! The doll and skull motifs are NOT interchangable, you have to choose what suits your style best. The locket can also be used as a pendulum amongst many other things - the more I play with it the more ideas I get! I'll post some images of the final product soon, just waiting for the proof to come back from the packaging company and I'm good to go. Thanks again everyone for the unbelievable interest this has generated, if I were a music producer I'm sure I'd have a no.1 on my hands! Darkly Dan |

Dammitt, missed the photos.
Could you put up a link to the photos? (flickr maybe?) as I can really see a use for such a locket in what I do - but it would have to be a particular size.

Here's a few images again to get a feel for the size. The billets used are 1"x 1" unfolded -
I'll be posting images of the locket pictures on the webpage as soon as it's available but here's an example - girl with doll (can't think what I'd use that for!?) Name any bizarre topic or performance and I've no doubt you can incorporate Memento Mori into it somewhere... Darkly |

I might do an extra sheet of images for inside the locket - Any suggestions you might want to see?

Just some thoughts:
Queen Victoria Ripper suspects (Thos. Neill Cream, Prince Albert Victor, Hyams, Frederick Deeming, Monty J. Druitt, Kosminski, Walter Sickert, &c.) Edward VII George V Also, remembering that a Victorian locket may have been handed down and used by a later generation, might I suggest some or all of the following: Lillie Langtry Sarah Bernhardt Edwardian women (various) Edwardian men (various) 14-18 (WWI) soldiers (various: allied and axis) Manfred von Richthofen (Red Baron) Harry Price Alistair Crowley Only suggestions. I'll be using a lock of hair. Is the 'window' acetate or glass?

It would be cool if you showed the locket with a regular picture and after some effects considering for example the ripper story you open the locket and one of the ripper victims is shown for example.

Acetate was developed in 1865 and made commercially available in 1904. By 1910 it was regularly used to replace broken glass in lockets and became the preferred 'window' for many soldiers taking their 'sweetheart lockets' to the trenches (because of its unbreakability). Looking forward to it.
