I'd say that TR gets negative Hitler points because even though he was a bit racist (as was common for the time) his pragmatism outweighed his racism when he said that regardless of his personal feelings on the black race the right thing to do in the end was only to judge them on their own merits like any other man. And he backed those words up by having the first black guest to eat at the white house and employing several black staff members. Pretty darned enlightened for that time. Was he perfect? No, he was human. But an incredibly courageous and brilliant human being.

Lots of people were interested in eugenics in those days. It was the new science craze. Then that went away and there was the irradiated health tonic craze. Then that went away and there was the vitamin C cures everything craze. Etc., etc. Hitler was also inspired by Nietsche but I don't think Jim Morrison was a Nazi. A weirdo, but not a Nazi.

Also, people don't get Hitler points for having one thing in common with Hitler, people get Hitler points for saying that person is like Hitler based on that one thing. "Tommy is composed of atoms, Hitler point!" Doesn't work like that.

But Tommy gets a Hitler point because that was a classic Hitler point maneuver.

There is no running score total, but the rules were layed out a while back. A Hitler point* is awarded when someone compares a person to Hitler, or a group to Nazi's, in order to condemn them in a political (or religious, economic, etc.) argument. That part is simple. Determining exactly what constitutes such a reference has been more flexible. The premise has never changed. I believe that I have earned four Hitler points for myself. I don't know anyone else's totals. And there is no prize since there are no rounds.

If one were to be harassed by an authority figure and then do this moustache and heil in order to humorously compare that authority figure to Hitler then I believe that would fall within the realm of Hitler point. If done to random strangers just to be obnoxious then I don't think it counts since no one is actually being compared to Hitler.
