You have finally lured me into one of your events, because my friend Ken Scott will be there, and the price is right. I hope to see my friend John Carlson there too.

As with all KIDabra events, we are like a family and everyone has a good time.

Both Ken and John have been very kind to me in private, and I would be remiss if I did not show up to thank them both personally.

Do you know that your event is on the same weekend at the Kapitol Kidvention? I hope you get a good turnout.

Actually, the Mini Conference was set and advertised last February right after the last conference. Kapital Kidvention changed hotels and took the only available date offered to them.

We both offer different type events. Ours is focused on entertaining kids using magic and this year, adding puppets to your show.

Most of the clients that attend each event are local to those events. We are a Mini-KIDabra like Conference, just like KIDabra International week long event but in a day.

Dunae Laflin, Ken Scott and Steve Petra were booked last February. These power-house entertainers and lectures, pack'em in at the Intrnational Conference. Steve is new to the area, but one look at his website and you can't wait to see what he is offering the attendees related to school shows topics and themes using puppets.

I'm getting calls at a rate of 2 per day Peter, and the closer it comes to the Feb 12th event, the calls increase.

I am looking forward to being there. I am going to be sharing a new marketing stragies that I killing with plus ton of useable routines. I will post a video next week.

Going to fun and very educational and motivating. The price is really too low for this event. One tip I am going to share IMO will be worth the small price you pay to get in.

Fantastic News: "Mr. KIDabra International" himself, Mark Daniel, will be joining us for this great Mini-Conference on Sunday, February 12, 2012, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Wow, this is a convention to go to! Get all the info at http://www.kidabra1.org . What you might not know is the convention is purposefully very small, so that each person can get a great seat and up close instruction. Some great performers and lectures for sure, but I love how knowledgeable many of the attendees are and how willing they are to share. It's a very inviting group, and I'm inviting you!! Want to get more out of your puppets? Not a vent... not a problem. Steve shares his methods to heighten the VISUAL impact of your puppet performances. Good puppetry technique, use of props, magic and imaginative staging combine to make your puppet segments favorites of your audiences. It okay to... BYOP - Bring your own puppet.

Do you work with Children doing school show, birthday parties, libraries, etc.?

Ken Scott will be lecturing on this topic.

Do you work with silks, perform on stage?


Duane Laflin will present Magic for kid shows and family entertainment featuring new routines and trick concepts. Duane Laflin will share silk magic from his recent trip to Japan, including an original and clever effect involving a small paper bag and three handkerchiefs that change color. He will share audience participation tricks with giant cards that are self-working and great entertainment (they also will fool most of the magicians in the audience). He will present wonderful routine concepts such as "I can't show you the green handkerchief," and "You can't see it, but you have it...it is called potential!" He will share a useful rope routine as well. Along with the tricks and routines, Duane will present insights on showmanship and stagecraft.

Do you work with Illusions and want a new and workable method in doing Stage Magic?

Duane has a brand new book, 172 pages in length on stage illusions. "On Stage With Illusions." It is a practical approach to using stage illusions that applies to the normal magician who works with family audiences. It may be the most thorough book ever written on presenting illusions from stage. This KIDabra conference will be the first group to ever see the book. This will be where Duane introduces the book to the magic world. It will be something extra special.

So KIDabra will be the first place to see it.
