I saw in a book somewhere a version of the ropes through the body that used 2 of the linking rings (separate ones). Spectator held the rings, and the ropes went through them. I can't find it anywhere now, and don't recall how the rings and the ropes were arranged to get the desired effect. Anyone recall this? And can offer some help? Feel free to PM me...

OK. Just found it. In the book, "A Book of Magic for Young Magicians: The Secrets of Alkazar" by Allan Zola Kronzek. Routine is called "The Cords of Shastri"
