L&L Publishing has a great policy that when pre-ordering that they won't charge your credit card till the order is ready to ship. I think this ought to be a good policy for all who request a pre-order. It would help hold down hostile comments and anxiety when things don't happen as planned. What are your thoughts?

It is a great idea, I just doubt it could work in general because the method of pre-ordering has special needs.
