Nice job! OBVIOUSLY - everyone wants to know "how much"? With changing a thing - what did this one sell for?

THANKS!

Nick, I usually dismiss the Flea Circus because there are so many poor versions out there. This one is a class-act.

As a designer I appreciate not only the attention to detail you've given this piece, but also the design as a whole. It's a great example of the Berlin School's Gestalt psychology..."The whole is greater than the sum of the parts." From the graphics, to the miniature props themselves...there is a cohesiveness to the visual presentation that makes this art. One can tell that you've really spent some time developing this. Awesome job.

Tony and Wizard of Oz, Thanks for the nice comments!

The Flea Circus above was built from the ground up. The box is made from Walnut and Red Oak with a raised panel lid. The props are made from Red Oak and brass. The electro-magnets are wound by me on my Sherline lathe.
1- Self opening box. The lid of the box has FLEAS engraved into it and inlayed with brass.
2- Seesaw. Made from brass
3- Trampoline. Made from brass
4- Mind reading flea- There are 5 different colored blocks a spectator is asked to think of a color(f-rc-d) and the flea pushes the block forward.
5- Rope climb to diving board.
6- Up down movement of diving board - The D.B. uses a state of the art actuator. A piece of oak is routed, actuator installed and then covered with oak veneer to hide the actuator.
7- Pool - The pool can either shoot water into the audience or wobble with a flick of switch located under the circus floor.
8- Magnetic turntable.
9- Trapeze- The trapeze use the same actuator as the diving board.
10- Rope climb to high wire.
11- High Wire- The flea walks a bar across the wire. The high wire is easily reset with a switch that reverses the polarity of the motor .
12- Cannon with tissue drum- Flea is placed in cannon and shot through tissue drum. The cannon uses compressed air which can easily be filled at the rear of the box. The air tank is copper and all fittings are soldered with a silver bearing solder to insure no leaks.
The price of this Flea Circus was $1200.00 plus shipping.

What a wonderful piece you have created. The price seems seriously low to me. Not to mention the materials involved but also the hours of labor invested. Cannot wait to see the video!!
