Thanks so much for including the person you associate with the routine.
That is really helpful, at least for me!

Abbott's Mutilated Parasol
Fairchild Dirt Eradicator
Lefler Supreme Slate of Mind
Fairchild Jumbo Hank Box
David Regal's Plumber's Helper
Malloy Cocktail Shaker (Utilized in a totally unique way & without the cards, glass and silk that comes with it)

My soon to be new favorite: Steve Spill's Mindreading Goose

I actually have many favorites in each of our 4 totally unique shows, but those are just a few that came to mind.

Nancini, does Lefler's Supreme Slate of Mind work with kids too, say 8-12? I've been thinking about that one, but want it to be for adults and kids if possible. Would appreciate your comments. Thanks! Bob
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about? Smile

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

Bob-

Yes, the Lefler Supreme Slate of mind works very well for adults and kids as long as they are of reading age and 8 to 12 fits that category.

We always perform for audiences of all ages and we just make sure that the questions we ask for this effect are understandable to the majority of our audience in each individual venue!

I really love this one because we can ask 3 completely random questions with 3 random answers since this particular epic does not require a force.

If you would like more details as to the flexibility we have with this prop, let me know and I will PM you.

My favorite parlor prop is the Mindreading Goose, but please do not buy the Mindreading Goose. If you already own a Mindreading Goose please do not perform it. It is my ultimate goal to be the one and only Mindreading Goose performer on the face of the Earth. I desperately need your help to achieve this goal. My life depends on it.

Glad to see everyone's doing different stuff! My absolute favorite parlor effect is Scorpion.

For packs small/plays big: the McCombiacal Deck. Fantastic reactions out of 16 playing cards.

Parlor jaw dropper: The floating Rose, using Michael Mode's paper rose.

Jimhlou,
What type of effect is Scorpion? I've been into magic for about 39 years now and have been doing paid shows for about 29 years of that and haven't ever heard of Scorpion.

My very favorite parlor prop that I have ever owned was a deck of cards. You can manipulate with cards, you can do tricks with cards, I just love cards. Although I do love other stage items.

I think Mental Epic is great. I know that a lot of performers don't like this item, but for me it is a great comedy and mystery routine
