Hello everyone! My name's James (surprisingly), and seeing as it seems like I should talk a little bit about myself, here we go. I've been learning magic for about two months, and am sort of in the first stages of maybe perhaps working on a double act with a friend. There, that was nice wasn't it? Thank you.

Welcome jameswasnthere,
You are very new to Magic so keep a list of all the Magic you learn. It can help you to see your progress and is a good reminder for material that has fallen out of your normal repertoire. Don't put it on the list till you can perform it for a Lay Person successfully. Where do you learn Magic? -Mary Mowder |

Ah, so simple but I'd never thought of doing that, thank you! And I'm learning almost exclusively from books (I've just got Mark Wilson's Complete Course after loving the Royal Road to Card Magic), although I'll use an Internet video, mainly YouTube, for help on techniques that I'm having difficulty with.
