The advantage of using silicone is that it makes a soft tip instead of a hard end that catches on the soft rope. I do a George Sands move that gives me ojida because of the hard lumpy ends on my expensive soft rope.

Italian-American slang for heartburn but it can also mean mental aggravation.
You know why don't act naive.

Thanks! I learned something new today.

Come to think about it, mental aggravation can definitely be contagious.

Having Gerd and getting a case of ojida could be a real pain... could leave your intestines in knots.

For the record, the Urban Dictionary spells it agida.

There are several accepted spellings of this slang expression, and I do think that we've all been there.

Oh, I agree. You can spell it however you want. The only reason I posted that spelling is because I am Italian and have heard the term but I didn't get that "that" was what was being referred to because the spelling lead me to say it differently and hence miss the meaning of what was being said.

Trying to be helpful is all.

Cheers!

So you did not recognize the accepted spelling of this slang Italian American word that I obtained from a google search? How many times have you seen this slang word in writing? Perhaps you shouldn't be smoking those funny cigarettes at this time of day.

Again, Al, you can spell it any way you want to spell it. I was simply providing an alternate way that may be more accepted or make more sense due to the similarity to the supposed Italian root.

And since you suggest I not smoke those funny cigarettes, I suggest you put ojida into a google search and see what you get.

I got SoundClick artist: Ojida - Ojida, pronounced (Ahh-jid-duh)is ...
http://www.soundclick.com/ojida

then

OJIDA |Free Music, Tour Dates, Photos, Videos
http://www.myspace.com/ojida

then

a couple of youtube videos Bridges by Ojida and Ojida Face Tattoo ( Part 1 )

then more facebook Ojida stuff

Funny thing about those sites, none of them relate to the the Italian slang for indigestion, not one of them on the first page of a google search for ojida, though the first site helpfully provides a phonetic pronunciation of ojita, as it seems people are confused as to how to say it.

Put in agida in google though and the first five results all relate to, as the first site puts it, "Italian-American slang for heartburn but it can also mean mental aggravation"

Getting what I got for ojida in google and getting what I got for agida in google, I just tried to helpfully post what the Urban Dictionary lists as the spelling and definition for the Italian slang for heartburn. Which also happened to be the very first google result.

But, obviously, you can spell it however you want.

Cheers!
