There's a ton of color in there. How would it look with a white background (instead of the light blue)?

This is good.
I believe that many colors are in purpose.... |

I think it looks good...especially being marketed as a kids show you want something bright and poppy that will catch kids eyes.

Yes,
Multiple bright colors look are suppose to look fun and kid friendly. I use a lot of blue that represents stability, and yellow and red for excitement. |

My concern is that it affects legibility and makes it overly busy. You've got dark blue writing with a light blue background, there's red, blue and yellow outlining on different coloured texts, and there's essentially a whole heck of a lot of different colours competing for attention on the page.

I think there is too much space between "Captain" and "Quakers". I just feel like if they were closer together my eyes could run over it more smoothly, and I feel like it is a bit distracting.
Mostly, though, it seems fine to me. |

Andrew,
I will eliminate some of the text. that should make it less busy. Benjamin, You are right too. I'll have a new graphic up by tomorrow. |

Red text on a blue background (and vice-versa) makes one's eyes tired.
I love the illustration, though!
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...
