I've heard great things about this effect (originally from Pavel I believe) and I do want to add it to my routine. However, after much practice I am still having difficulty in making the knot created on the rope in front of the audience realistic looking (to me), and after the twist and disappearing move, the other knot becomes unrealistic looking/revealing (to me). Is it me? Do I just need to keep practicing? Is it the material that Daryl uses in his ropes possibly too "stretchy", or just needs breaking in?
Any thoughts appreciated as I do like the effect. John

Daryl sends a DVD with each trick that explains how to do what you just asked.

Thanks Al,
I guess I am a nerd. I used the written instructions first which stated "Once you have completely mastered this routine and, without thinking, can perform it both flawlessly and effortlessly then, and only then, should you even consider learning the more advanced handling explained on the accompanying DVD." I assumed the DVD was only for advanced routines and didn't bother to look at it yet!
