Chris is an awesome magician.... and this trick is not for me, but neither is sponge balls and thousands of magicians do that.
Each to their own.. and I can't wait to see what else he's got on the back burner for us. |

I agree with Wizard Product Review too. Lots of times I see great creations/variations and take my hat off but this is bad. We have to call the horses by the names! Tomorow we can see a great creation of Chris, but this... without words.
My version of Eddie fetcher "Be Honest What's it?" it's available at Penguin Magic

Hey Guys,
just wanted to say that I know this got a bad review from one place but that's personal opinion. First of all thanks for the idea on 'did you remember the back' as this will make the change better so thanks Dave. Tom, in answer to how you would handle this and you would think covering a certain area on a printed card is better but you have to think how a layman would see this ....would they think 'here comes that guy with the special printed playing cards' No they would think 'here comes that guy with the cards' as they do not know what is going to happen and at the end their reaction is "well how did he change that card, and reveal my card?" so I would handle this very freely as they are not trying to work out the trick like a magician. So thanks Tom This is a easy peice of light hearted magic and is not for every one but I look rubbish in leotard so I don't do illusions, so this is not for me. If you would like me to put up a small clip of the magician version which is more visual then I shall (this is explained on the dvd)so please let me know. Hope this helps guys Peace Chris Webb |

Hi Chris,
At the moment based on the review I have little faith in this sadly - mainly that the change isn't visual and the card image looks specially printed to me Therefore I would love to see the version you use on magicians, please! It may look much better and then I will be more interested Best, Kyle |

Why not cut a piece of a dupe king to fit the chest area and hold it in place with a little bit of blue tac then steal this off visually to reveal the superman costume - just flapping my gums really but this is something that people could do to add to the visual aspect of the effect.

I believe he already has a handling explained using the chest plate method. I am not sure why he didn't show it in the demo, he should have, it looks good!

Sorry I don't feel that the second video realy adds very much - Chris has done some great stuff, sadly this isn't!

What you need to do Chris is film all your demos in New York and have lots of shots of people in very baggy clothes freaking out your tricks in a hazy, colourful HD slow mo and not actually show the trick itself - that's how you film a demo these days isn't it?
I really like the idea of the trick and I think the second demo works a lot better, as I was filling in a lot of the gaps i.e. force, false shuffle, double lift, reveal. I do however feel I could make this effect myself, which might be a bit of an issue when marketing the product - not that I would do this but in a world where people go home and Google your effects after a show many people will. |

I really don't see many people rushing home and googling this effect !!

Yes havens I was being a little sarcastic, I realy don't know what made Chris 'release' this, all his other stuff is top draw.

Releasing one-trick DVD's of this nature (not to mention the amateurish production quality) do absolutely nothing to enhance the image of magic - in my honest opinion.

The effect is a COMEDY bit guys! It's not like an effect where you can levitate your car and have it vanish in the air and stuff...it's a "worker" effect where as you are doing your magic, you "screw-up" and have Super-King help you out...I'm sure it's not meant to be astonishing! It could be with the right performance style but I think it's more like a gag-trick...cause some laughs along with a bit of wow and take off...
The WPR guys totally rant over it for no reason...i have seen it live from Chris and it really brought a smile on my face and that is what it's supposed to do! Peace out..
The things that are most real to me are the illusions which I create...everything else is quicksand...
