I don't think that a Tux is up my ally, because of the other effects I have, and I don't want to do a costume change half way though the routine. So I'm bouncing back and forth between tux, suit, or some other means of costume that fits my whole feel. (classical refined, with a new-age up to date twist) So for example, I have classical music, that is mixed with hip-hop beats or more specifically dubstep music. you know, just add a little flair to the classics. that kinda the running theme I want though my magic, and costume and everything. And I'm stuck on what to wear. I have comedy routines in the beginning, and then gradually get more serious throughout the routine. So its hard for me to see me dressed up in a full tux, to come out and do something like.... the vanishing bandana or something haha. (maybe being overdessed for the effect will add more comedy?) lol obviously I'm a little lost here... any ideas, tips, etc. would help.
Thanks for all the help that everyone has given me so far! -Derek |

You can wear whatever you can put dove p****ts in if you want to do that type of l**d. There is no hard and fast rule. It can be done wearing a t shirt and shortsleeved shirt if you wanted.

Lance Burton and Greg Frewin both remove there jackets after their initial dove acts. They are changing for the next theme or part of their acts.
When all you have is a 20 minute act, you don't have to change, but those days are gone. Now most shows are 45 minutes to 2 hours. Changes in clothing is totally acceptable. Also, some tricks when working with spectators do not meet the needs of still wearing cloths prepared for dove magic. Thus being able to change your coat will open up more flexibility to working various magic tricks. |

Derek, you already asked this question in the Polly forum and got some good advice there. No point in starting a new topic for the same thing.
