I understand it's for bicycles. But that doesn't mean I can't personally modify it, like most magic Since I don't know the gimmick, I just wanted to know if I can be adapted it.

You can make a gimmick for any deck of cards that you want very easily. You can either take apart the supplied gimmick, or make a brand new one yourself. You probably have the needed supplies on hand. If you don't, taking apart the supplied gimmick poses absolutely no problem at all. Five minutes is all it will take.

To answer your question about holding money- picture one half of a legitimate wallet's bill compartment. You can hold folded money I guess. Also, half of a bill can be tucked into a vertical "credit card" type slot. Allowing for a bill to be stored/used/or displayed there (I think the dvd presents an effect that suggests you keep a bill that way- can't remember why).
I don't think you'll have a problem making a business card gimmick, and you'll find that the wallet actually can aid and add to effects/gimmicks that you currently have in play (though I don't want to mention them in fear of revealing the method). At a glance, you can reveal the back if you must. I imagine you can even strategically place a few fingers and present it at more than a glance. I recommend this product. Just wish is was a bit softer leather and that the workmanship were a bit better on some of the additions and gimmicks. When you get it and inspect it, you'll find that it looks more like a modified wallet than something that was manufactured for the effect. Still recommended. |

I've recently just started keeping the gimmick in my deck practically full-time and doing card tricks with it... is anyone else doing this? It's easy to locate, easy to move around and I'm always ready to do my card to wallet routine.

I think the gimmick comes with Bicycle cards but as other posters have said it is very simple to make your own gimmick using any type or deck of cards you choose or prefer. There is no need or requirement for you to control a card to the top of the deck (the gimmick sits on the top of the deck and is hidden in plain sight) The DVD tutorial is very detailed and comprehensive and the effect is almost self working. For me it is by far the best no palm CTW on the market bar none.

Thanks raymondo.. I have watched the F1 Nitro wallet phantom card video on the Alakazam web site over and over again, peter puts the signed card into the middle of the pack, that's why I thought I needed to control the card back to the top again.
where in Manchester are you. iam in sheffield.. thanks steve. |

It's called a Marlo Tilt control - very, very simple and it is explained fully on the DVD. I'm from Sale (near Altrincham) by the way and my daughter is studying at Sheffield University. It's a very small world. ;-)

Fantastic effect far better than a palm card to wallet in my opinion as the wallet is out from the start and you can even show a face down card from the start as a prediction so better than a palmed version even though a palmed version is easy there is no need to go to your pocket with this as its so slick and foolproof . You may want the signed card to appear inside an envelope like most magicians around but I don't so it's perfect for me as not everyone is doing it . Oh and don't forget the little red sticker that the others do too if you want the
version that is pure overkill nonsense 😊 |

Hi. Whats the red sticker one. Is there a youtube vid of it being done.

Got my f1 nitro now and it is fantastic.. been doing the gambler trick, it looks brilliant when performing it. there is a lot of tricks to learn with it, some of the more complicated tricks are hard to understand for a complete novice like me but I will keep going, my gimmick is a 6 of clubs and I was wondering if I should remove the normal 6 of clubs from my deck. should I do this ?.
any tips are most welcome.. thanks for reading.. steve. |
