Hello everyone!
My name is Roberto and I'm new to the Magic Café. I've been seriously into magic now for the past 3 yrs. I actually got started in magic back in '94 when I was in my mid-twenties. After about 3 yrs. I stopped doing magic for nearly 6 yrs. But now I'm back for good! I am strictly into close-up card magic and I am currently taking private lessons from professional magician, Jamy Ian Swiss. I have a large library of books mostly on card magic and theory/presentation which I love to study but wished I had more time to read. I am very excited about being a part of the Magic Café and look forward to making new friends. Roberto

Welcome Roberto!!
I'm glad that we have another cardman around here. (We're a special breed LOL ) I'm sure you'll very much enjoy the card tricks and flourishes sections, and I look forward to what you've got to say. (By the way, you'll just fall in love with these smiles after the first day!!) |

You are very lucky to have Jamy Swiss as your teacher. He is a great guy!

Yes zombieboy, I am very lucky indeed as Jamy is a great guy! And quite knowledgable to say the least. Right before we start my lessons, he goes into a deep and passionate talk about magic and it's past & present practicioners. This "talk" alone is in my opinion worth the price of the lessons and then some! I will do my best to make him proud.

Jordini,
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we are a special breed, LOL! I'm a firm believer that you can indeed entertain an audience with nothing more than a deck of cards. So long as you can convey your passion and make it fun. Roberto
